About Dr Royer
Dr. Kinga Royer received her Doctoral Dental degree from the Medical University of Lodz in Poland in 2001. Upon graduating, she began her specialty training in Prosthodontics at the Military Institute of Health Services in Warsaw while working as a dentist in the National Defense Academy in Warsaw. In spite of her young age, Dr. Royer was named Chief of the Dental Department of the Military Hospital where she remained until she left Poland in 2005.
In 2009, Dr. Royer completed her certification in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Rochester Eastman Institute for Oral Health. During her residency, Dr. Royer participated in numerous research projects and she was awarded the prestigious Bibby Award for her innovative research in the field of root canal obturation systems. The results of her study investigating the presence of mandibular incisive canal (MIC) in panoramic radiographs (OPGs) can be read in PubMed.
Upon relocating to Sarasota in 2010, Dr. Royer began working as an Associate at a very busy group practice. In 2012, she decided to open her own practice so that she could focus on patient care. In her own practice, Dr. Royer enjoys the freedom to spend more time with her patients and making them feel more comfortable.
She is committed to giving back to the community by volunteering at events such as Florida Mission of Mercy (FLA MOM) and Project Christmas Smile.
Dr. Royer is a proud member of the Florida Dental Association, the West Coast District Association, and the Sarasota County Dental Association.
She has two wonderful boys, Noah and Nathaniel, and they all love traveling, fishing and a variety of water sports, which makes Sarasota and Siesta Key the perfect place for them.
